The ECT Coordinator demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment and leadership in supporting the departmental scope of service, facility planning, budgetary issues, and patient care delivery. The ECT Coordinator, under the supervision of the LCN or Director, assumes responsibility and accountability for the management of human and physical resources of the unit to deliver affordable, quality care. The ECT Coordinator also assumes the responsibility and accountability of the registered nurse in providing nursing care to patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment, and other health care members. Follow policies and procedures of Osceola Regional Medical Center.
EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED:
* Associate Degree, Diploma in Nursing, or BSN required
* FL RN license and/or approved multistate license
* BLS within 90 days of hire required
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OR PREFERRED:
* Acute care experience required
