TE Connectivity's internship program is designed to provide interns with real world experience to enhance classroom knowledge. Uniquely crafted assignments and meaningful projects provide interns with a challenging 10 - 12 week experience. Interns will gain exposure to senior leadership and be given professional development opportunities. At the end of the summer, interns will be provided the opportunity to pursue full-time placement within TE Connectivity.
As a member of TE Connectivity's Communications team, students will have the opportunity to drive strategic change through high-impact communications. The primary focus of this internship is to support the launch of new digital communications platforms at TE sites around the world. The goal of this initiative is to increase employee engagement and enhance the TE brand with employees.
This position could be based at either our Middletown, PA or Berwyn, PA locations.
RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS
You will put your design, writing, social media and teamwork skills to use in a variety of activities including:
*Research on best practices for digital communication channels - specifically, an employee app and digital signage
*Investigate best-in-class companies and models for employee app implementation
*Build assets and promotional materials to increase success of the launch i.e. user guides, how-to-videos, lunch-and-learn sessions
*Help coordinate and facilitate feedback sessions with global pilot sites
*Measure impact and adoption of new communications channels through analytics dashboards, surveys and focus groups
*Support the project team in various elements of pilot to increase speed of delivery and success rate
*Other assignments and communications support related to diversity initiatives, HR communications and company culture
*Junior pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Communications/Marketing, Business Communications, Digital Communication, Business Writing or a related degree
*Cumulative GPA 3.0 or higher
*Has completed another internship at a large company
*Interest in working internationally (preferred study abroad experience)
Requested working time:
* 15-20 hours a week during the semester
* 30-40 hours a week during summer months
