Gensler s Northwest region is seeking a Mid-level Job Captain/Project Architect for our Oakland office. You will join a highly creative, collaborative team dedicated to innovative problem solving and design excellence. * Bachelor's or Master s degree in Architecture
* 5-8 years architecture experience as a job captain/project architect
* Proficiency in Revit REQUIRED
* Design and documentation experience required
* Excellent graphic design, organizational, time management, and written and verbal communication skills
* Experience providing project team coordination for plans, specifications, materials and construction administration
* Ability to provide guidance on technical issues and to prepare and ensure accuracy of technical documents
* Knowledge of building codes, standards and building structures
* Facility with 3D conceptualization (digitally or by hand) a plus
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Bluebeam are a plus
