GS-11: $67,856.00 - $88,215.00
GS-12: $81,332.00 - $105,731.00
Full Performance level : GS-12

Major Duties
  • Supervises the purchasing needs for the Division. Assists in performing market research studies and surveys, preparation and approval of purchase orders and documents, receipt and acknowledgment of the products and distribution.
  • Supervises the property management and inventory program for the Division. Assists in managing all of the Division's equipment, furniture and supplies and maintains the inventory controls for these products to include the storage and current location of these items. Additionally, supports the control and disposal of excess or surplus properties from the inventory.
  • Responsible for the control and approval for special projects and space and construction of facilities. Resolves discrepancies, overrun cost, dispute erroneous charges to include unauthorized expenses. Negotiates contracts and costs with Federal, state, and local governments. Approves expenditures with these agencies and contracting costs with businesses and individuals.
  • Responsible for providing an efficient and effective interaction and onsite coordination between the Division's staff and the Finance and Facilities Division at FBIHQ, the local and regional General Services Administration (GSA) and the various contractors. All efforts for the acquisition, design, planning, justification, budget, renovation and/or construction are coordinated or obtained through this position.
  • Supervises a staff of employees and is responsible for various administrative and technical functions including planning the work to be accomplished by employees, setting and adjusting short term priorities, and preparing schedules for completion of work.

Specialized Experience (SE):
GS-11: Applicants must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-9 grade level.
Specialized Experience is:
  • Formulated strategies, recommendations, and forecasts to achieve results and anticipated potential problems
  • Defined the scope for analysis and/or evaluation to be conducted, developed criteria to ensure accuracy, all objectives were met, and appropriate action was taken
  • Property/Space management to include acquisition, facility management, renovation and construction
  • Prepared and delivered oral and/or written briefings to executive or supervisory staff regarding issues, problems, and/or progress of studies
GS-12: Applicants must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level.
Specialized Experience is:

Education
All degrees must be from an accredited college or university. Education may be substituted for specialized experience as follows:
GS-11: Applicant must have a Ph.D. OR equivalent doctoral degree OR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree OR LL.M., if related.
Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the above requirements provided you can show foreign education is comparable to that received in an accredited educational institution in the United States.
