Job Description:

Position Summary:

This Lead Financial Analyst – SAP Core Defender Team is responsible for reviewing, validating and delivering data to be loaded into SAP. They will serve as a liaison between the Business and the IT Core Team.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver cleansed and enriched data for load into SAP

    • Material Master

    • Bill of Materials

    • Routings

    • Inventory

    • Costing Budget Purchasing Conditions

  • Review and Validate 1st Cost roll up in SAP for each plant going-live

  • Provide leadership, coaching, knowledge transfer, coordination and support to the site-level team throughout launch phases

  • Work with plant after launch to support organizational changes and continuous improvement

  • Serves as a liaison between the Business and IT Core Team (BA’s and Functional Cons)

  • May, on occasion, be required to perform duties other than those specified in this description 

Education and Qualifications:

  • Four-year college degree in Accounting or Finance

  • Five to seven years previous experience in ERP and MRP systems – like SAP, Oracle, Vanguard

  • Five to seven years of Plant Costing experience preferred

  • Ability to work well with people across all functional areas

  • Experience with Annual cost roll ups

  • SAP experience for General Ledger, Finance and Costing

  • Bilingual or multilingual – Not mandatory, but helpful

  • Extremely strong Excel skills, especially advanced financial modeling and analytical techniques

  • Considerable travel throughout NA 50-75% travel requirement

  • Peak time travel will require a full week away

  • Off weeks allow to work from Home Office

  • Willingness and ability to travel, as necessary

  • Must wear proper personal protection equipment while on manufacturing floor

  • Travel to manufacturing facilities or customer locations when required

  • Equipment used requires proper training on the potential for and avoidance of injury
