General Description of Responsibilities: Performs general interior and exterior custodial functions. Specific Responsibilities:
Provide building cleaning services in various Quantico facilities.
Perform daily routine Custodial tasks which include sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing restrooms, removing trash from buildings to outside dumpsters.
Apply skills and knowledge of materials, power tools and hand tools applicable to custodial duties such as vacuums, brooms, mops, and cleaning products.
Practice and understand the elements of good customer service, good communication skills and interaction with others.
Maintain janitor closets in a clean, organized, and safe manner.
Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition.
Ensure proper labeling, dilution and use of all chemicals.
Order and stock supplies.
Assist other areas as needed, and operate motor vehicles.
Perform all assignments in accordance with ES&H, security, and business practice requirements and policies.
Must possess Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance
Must have a valid driver’s license
Three-year similar verifiable experience
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment
Ability to understand and have working knowledge of hazardous, safety, and environmental warnings.
Ability to work weeknights or weekends, as needed.
Work may be performed both indoors and outdoors. Outdoor work is subject to extreme temperatures, noise, and inclement weather conditions and other conditions determined by the nature of the job. Tasks may be performed on uneven, inclined, hard, and cement structures and surfaces at times.
