Job Description:

Occupational Therapist (OT) for Occupational Therapy at St Joseph Hospital.
Full-time position; 80 hours biweekly. 8-hour Day shift.
The Staff Occupational Therapist I (OTR) is responsible for completing evaluations, developing written treatment plans, and providing on-going treatments that are designed to improve the patient’s functional status in conjunction with overall treatment objectives.  Meets all clinical, organizational and position requirements as defined in the Occupational Therapy policies for Scope of Practice and Professional Standards.

  • Valid Drivers License and Insured Motor Vehicle Readily Available within two (2) hours notice for Transportation Between Hospital Sites

Education:  Graduation from accredited college or university with a Baccalaureate or Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy.
Experience:  Rehab and general experience is preferred.
Training/Knowledge:  Needs to be FIM certified within three months of hire.  BLS certified.
Licensure:   Current certification by the National Board for Certification for Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) and California State Occupational Therapy licensure (CBOT).
