Need a highly motivated, enthusiastic, hardworking individual to help run the day-to-day operations of a sequencing core lab and work cross functionally within the team and with other groups, including Engineering, Product Test Group, and Library Prep Core

Job tasks include, but not limited to the following:

- Will be in charge of managing and coordinating sequencing runs for multiple Oncology projects

- Will be in charge of reagent inventory, organizing reagents, and making reagent reports for supervisor

- Sunday shift will consist of maintenance washing all the instruments in core lab fleet (this will be a solitary shift) - ~80 sequencers

- Will be the lead POC in communicating to engineers of any instrument issues

- Will be responsible for onboarding new instruments

- Will assist in run error tracking and run troubleshooting

- Will assist in reagent ordering

- Will assist in day-to-day communications with customers about run inquiries and also general core lab customer communication

- Will assist in general instrument maintenance: post-washing and maintenance washing during the week

- Will assist in prepping reagents and loading of sequencers

- Will assist in sample preparation for sequencing loading

- Will assist in sending out daily communication of core lab sequencing events

- Will assist in overall lab maintenance (cleaning, 5S, etc.)

- Will assist in creating documentation for day-to-day operational tasks

- Will assist in picking up reagents

- Will assist library prep team if needed

- Will need to be flexible as more tasks can be assigned

Candidate should have:

- Molecular Biology, Biochemistry background

- Ability to run instruments

-2+ years industry experience

-Must be good at multitasking

-Must be extremely detail oriented

-Must be able to work under pressure and under tight deadlines

-Must be able to work in a fast paced and challenging environment

-Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills

-Must be a quick learner and needs to be flexible

-Must be a team player

-Experience with NGS technology desired

-Experience working in an operations lab desired
