The Technical Sales Engineer will work internally with the dedicated Bank (Client) team as well as Corporate IT, Applications Set Up, Billing, file transmissions and any additional areas that interact with the Bank (Client). The role is responsible for building relationships at the Bank (Client) to include the IT resources as well as the Vendor Liaison and any sales / business counterparts. The TSE needs to understand all of the offerings currently used by the Bank (Client) as well as being knowledgeable of their strategic direction to insure HC IT is aligned. The TSE takes on the role of Project Manager for any IT projects within HC or involving the Bank (Client). Requirements gathering and understanding is a key skill set for the role of the TSE. Incident management, to include testing during incidents, along with testing new product offerings is the responsibility of the TSE.
Key Duties / Responsibilities - Essential duties are identified by asterisks.
Assigned large projects, responsible for multiple projects
Develops and implements plans to achieve a specific scope that is driven by the program or portfolio it is subjected to
Addressing the various needs, concerns and expectations of the stakeholders in planning and executing the project
Setting up, maintaining and carrying out communications among stakeholders that are active, effective and collaborative in nature
Managing stakeholders towards meeting project requirements and creating project deliverables
Balancing the competing project constraints including but not limited to scope, quality, schedule, budget, resources and risks
Regularly provides guidance to and assists in training of less experienced personnel
Generally works under deadlines.
Will be responsible for multiple phases of a project. Plans work for others to meet project deadlines
Sets priorities to accommodate needs of users.
Will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams.
Highly proficient in developing process and technical documentation
Communicates directly with internal and external customers; acts as an internal consultant.
Has a general understanding of multiple business segments or functions

Education & Knowledge Required
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
PMP Certification preferred
Experience / Skills / Abilities Required
5+ Years with Bachelor’s degree or 11+ years’ work experience
Communication & Contacts Required
Communicates directly with internal and external customers daily. On occasion, communicates with vendors.
