Lead Optical Dispenser at Kaiser Permanente

Description: Under the general supervision of the optical sales branch manager, is responsible for all dispensing and optical activities. Enforces all safety standards and maintains the highest standards in the dispensing of optical goods consistent with the policies and procedures set forth by The Permanente Medical Group, Inc. This includes all technical procedures of fitting, necessary bench work, and allied optical procedures. In addition, will be any necessary clerical functions required to satisfy patient needs which may include acting as liaison between pertinent departments. A Lead Dispenser maybe appointed at the discretion of the Employer with input from the Union Labor Partner and will require specifically and regularly to direct, check, review, assign, organize, and coordinate the work of five (5) or more employees within a specific sales office. The Lead Dispenser will be responsible for training and reporting on the work of other employees as required.

Must be able/willing to work additional hrs as needed up to 40. Hrs subject to chg with short notice. Some evenings and/or Sat may be required.
