A registered or registry-eligible technologist who assumes responsibility and accountability for patients who present for diagnostic imaging services. Provides high quality images which ensures optimum diagnostic clarity for Physician interpretation and minimum discomfort to patients. The technologist provides direct patient care for patients of all ages from newborn through adult patients throughout the lifespan.

QUALIFICATIONS (minimum requirements) Education and/or years experience required: Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology. Licensure/Certifications required: Current American Registry of Radiographic Technologists licensure. Current Certification (or within 1 month of hire/transfer) as American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS Knowledge & Skills Must have knowledge of anatomy and physiology pertinent to the science of radiologic technology.
