Job Description:

1st shift, Monday - Friday, starting at 6:00am

What you’ll do on a typical day:


  • Supervise the inventory control department staff

  • Maintain inventory records and reconcile discrepancies

  • Establish and maintain procedures for meeting company and customer commitments

  • Promote and implement continuous improvement initiatives

  • Train, motivate and lead others within area of responsibility

  • Facilitate conflict resolution and enforce company policies and procedures

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • 5 years of supervisory experience in an inventory control environment

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), warehouse management systems (WMS), and database systems

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present clean, organized and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience

  • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and get along with diverse personalities

  • Self-motivated and able to work well with minimal supervision or in a team environment; consult with team members and management as needed

  • Excellent analytical and math skills

  • Ability to multitask; set and manage priorities based on customer requirements

  • Availability to work a flexible schedule including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends

It’d be great if you also have:


  • Experience in AS9100 or ISO environment

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics Management
