Edelman is a leading global Communications Marketing firm that partners with many of the world’s largest and emerging businesses and organizations, helping them evolve, promote and protect their brands and reputations. Edelman is looking
for a Copywriter to join our growing South Creative team.  This team is
working on some of the world’s biggest and most exciting brands and is
responsible for award winning creative, digital and social campaigns.
Edelman is a great place to grow your talent and hone your craft. You will be
challenged to push convention and your own creativity to find the most
innovative ways to drive consumer behavior in today’s socially-charged, digital
environment.

We are at a critical
juncture in communications where the online market conversation has never been
louder, further reaching, nor more active.  Social media and digital
marketing are now not “nice to haves” in the communications mix, they are
essential to a brand’s overall image and success.

The Copywriter’s role
is to bring our clients’ brand stories to life through creativity and the
written word. As part of the creative team, assignments will range from concept
development (everything from taglines to campaigns) to the creation of long-
and short-form content. You’ll work in a highly collaborative environment with
respected colleagues in Art/Design, Account Management, Strategy, Technology
and Production.

Beyond being a
talented copywriter, you should have a strong working knowledge of marketing,
design, and a passion for digital and social media. You can also turn on a dime
and work on a wide range of projects and brands, often in the same day (which
is where having a great sense of humor comes in really handy). You'll be
challenged to think creatively and find groundbreaking solutions to achieve our
client’s business and marketing goals. At your core, you’re a written word
perfectionist and can demonstrate an ability to think conceptually and show a
thorough grasp of structure. Our clients range from technology to fun teen
brands, so demonstrating diversity of experience with the ability to mix up
your tone is key.

In return, you’ll
have an opportunity to work on global brands in a close-knit, empowering
environment. Edelman encourages the entrepreneurial spirit and offers
tremendous opportunities for personal and professional development.
