Location: Alpharetta, Georgia
This position designs, develops, and implements customized technical documents. Gathers information about needs, objectives, functions, features, and requirements in order to adequately document product. Performs writings tasks for technical documents including user manuals, help documents, and tutorials for a wide range of uses. Responsible for coordinating the display of graphics and/or the production of the document. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Works with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of software products and subsequently works to document information
Analyzes product content and identifies single source document opportunities and subsequently constructs a strategy to capitalize on those areas
Utilizes technical writing methodology and tools to produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable product and company standards
Creates and maintains tutorials to help end-users navigate a variety of Intelligrated Software applications
Utilizes photographs, drawings, animation, and charts within product documentation/tutorials that increase the users understanding
Review and edit draft versions of internal and external publications created by engineers
Creates Product “cut sheets” to support internal and external customers
May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
The Documentation Specialist has three or more years of experience in the technical writing of product documentation; Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience, preferred.

Ability to deliver high quality documentation
Attention to Detail
Up to 10% domestic and/or international travel may be required.
