Job Description

The Distribution Center Material Handler will be responsible for physically and systematically receiving, transporting and shipping supplies, materials and finished product. To be completed in a timely and accurate manner. Use of power equipment as needed. Follow established standard work procedures and guidelines. Ensures the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment.

JOB SCOPE:
- Performs diversified duties involved with the receipt, storage, distribution, transportation and shipment of both raw material and finished goods.
- Preparing product for production activities to include unpacking, packaging of product
- Stocking finished goods into storage areas
- Labeling of product and use of bar code equipment.

Duties may be in an individual or team setting and may include but are not limited to:
- Data entry
- Palletizing of material
- Retrieval and storage of material in high bay racks and stockrooms
- Packing and unpacking of delicate materials.
- Re-packaging and shipping of materials.
- Labeling
- Verification of packing slip on the receipt of raw materials

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.

- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

- Data Entry (SAP a plus)
- Manually move up to 40 pounds

- Previous warehouse experience a plus.

- Ability to move throughout facility.

-Ability to work independently and as a team.

-Ability to follow all safety guidelines.

-Must have ability to work extended or weekend hours or weekends to support business needs.
