Translate consumer insights and trends into creative and commercially viable footwear solutions.
Develop seasonal color palettes, graphics, and branding for various collections.
Partner with product managers to execute the design vision.
Responsibilities:
Conduct trend research and identify unmet consumer needs.
Create compelling color and graphic direction for footwear collections.
Develop technical design packages (CADs) and presentations.
Utilize digital tools to create visual representations of designs.
Partner with material sourcing to explore sustainable and innovative materials.
Ensure adherence to design timelines and quality standards.
Qualifications:
3-7 years of experience in footwear design.
Strong understanding of color, form, and materials.
Ability to translate trends into marketable products.
Excellent sketching, illustration, and rendering skills.
Proficiency in design software (Illustrator, Photoshop).
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Experience with product development cycles and visual line plans.
Familiarity with sustainable design practices (a plus).
Travel:
Approximately 20% travel required, including air travel.
