Job Description: Our client, an investment manager located in Rockefeller Center is looking for a part-time Temp Facilities/ Office Assistant to join their team. This role will start as soon as we can find the right candidate, and the temp contract is open-ended. The part time schedule/ hours are as follows: Tuesday-Thursday 8:30am-4:30pm. Hourly pay rate is 20-23/hr DOE.



Primary Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Receive, sort and deliver all incoming and outgoing mail.

  • Receive and deliver all incoming packages (i.e., FedEx, UPS, and USPS).

  • Pick up and deliver copy jobs and packages.

  • Keep daily records of all incoming and outgoing mail and packages.

  • Sorting, look-up, proper marking and direction of all USPS mail, overnight and interoffice mail.

  • Complete and deliver completed projects from the copy center on various machines and copiers with a variety of specifications (tabbing, binding, padding, cutting, numbering and packing).

  • Maintain inventory of all supplies in mail and copy areas. This includes all custom marketing materials, shipping, copier and miscellaneous mailroom and copy room supplies.

  • Provide coverage of reception desk to meet and greet clients/guests when necessary.

  • Assist with receiving, re-stocking, and maintaining assorted office and pantry supplies.

  • Assist with the set up and breakdown of catered meetings as well as in office staff luncheons/events.

Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks.

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Outstanding punctuality and attendance.

  • Available for over-time as needed

  • Basic computer skills, Microsoft Office preferred

  • High School Graduate or equivalent (GED)


Additional abilities: Lift and move 25 to 50 lbs. of office supplies (e.g boxes of paper, soft drinks)
