Job Description:

We are looking for a Lead MA to join the Adult Medicine team at Van Plaza !

Responsibilities include rooming patients, collecting patient information, preparing patients for examination, assisting with procedures, phlebotomy and assisting with overall delivery of patient care . It is expected that the Lead's daily work will encompass both lead and direct patient care responsibilities along with assisting Adult Medicine in achieving efficient work flow processes, high quality clinical outcomes, and exemplary patient experiences.Schedule for position is Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Requirements:


  • Education and at least 1 year experience as an MA-C, required

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MA-C, preferred

  • Active required credential(s) for Medical Assistant-Certified.

  • Ability to successfully become a core-trainer and super user of EMR.

  • Superior communication skills and interpersonal skills set.

  • Ability to be a team player. Support and assist team members. Be available to help, and learn from the team. Keep an open mind to feedback, and earn trust of staff and providers.

  • Possess a positive winning attitude. Able to welcome challenges and view problems as opportunities. View mistakes as learning experiences, while believing that your efforts will make a positive difference.

Pay Range:
$26.15 - $36.61

Benefits-eligible employees accrue PTO and Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked, totaling 120 hours in the first year for full time staff and 200 hours in the first year for full time supervisors and above, increasing in subsequent years. PTO and Personal Time accruals are pro-rated by FTE/hours worked. Non-benefits eligible employees will accrue Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked.
