About the Role:

Here is your opportunity to work on a product with a huge role in this organization’s charter. You will be building a new platform for the Federal Reserve. This involves re-inventing old processes and tools combining onto a new platform for both the Federal Reserve System along with partner agencies.

You Will:


  • Develop user interfaces, process models, and data storage in a low code development environment of the Appian platform.

  • Work closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.

  • Involved in the full systems life cycle and responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting application software that is delivered on time and within budget.

  • Make recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code on the Appian platform.

  • Aligning the solutions with business and IT strategies and comply with the organization's architectural standards.

  • Responsibilities may also include participation in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring.

  • Some responsibilities may change based on candidate’s experience.

You Have:


  • Degree/Certificate in Technology related field.

  • Appian low code platform certifications would be a plus.

  • Has experience in working in a team using Agile methodology.

  • Openings at various experience levels (2-6 years) on the Appian (preferred) or other low code platform.

  • Experience in systems analysis, design and a solid understanding of development, quality assurance and integration methodologies.

  • Equivalent education and/or experience may be substituted for any of the above requirements.

Notes:

This position may be filled at various levels based on candidate's qualifications as determined by the department.

This role allows for the employee to work remotely the majority of the time (about 96%). There is no expectation for a fully remote employee to routinely work onsite at the Federal Reserve work location, with only rare instances driven by business need.  Specific schedule details will be discussed during the recruitment process.  Fully remote employees must reside within the borders of the continental United States. 

This position requires access to confidential supervisory information and/or FOMC information, which is limited to "Protected Individuals" as defined in the U.S. federal immigration law. Protected Individuals include, but are not limited to, U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, and U.S. permanent residents who either are not yet eligible to apply for naturalization or who have applied for naturalization within the requisite timeframe.
