Facilitate and drive a company culture that integrates safety, industrial health, programs, and practices into daily activities/initiatives. Provide strategic planning and comprehensive safety and industrial health, expertise to the Lee Company business teams. Provide oversight and direction to multiple construction, manufacturing, and service locations.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Safety and Health or related field preferred
Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or CSHM preferred
10+ years in Safety and Industrial Health experience or demonstrated ability in leading safe organizations
5-10+ years leadership experience preferred
Or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.
OSHA 10- and 30-Hour Construction and/or General Industry Authorized Outreach Trainer required.

Thorough knowledge of Federal, State, and local safety and health rules and regulations

Must be available to be on call for emergencies.
Demonstrated knowledge of current leadership, management, and supervisory methods

Program development and design skills, including training needs assessment

Ability to lead and motivate individuals and teams to achieve program and project objectives
Thorough knowledge of Safety and Industrial Health Management principles
Strong analytical, interpersonal and organizational skills
Strong presentation skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong budget forecasting and planning skills
Ability to operate a computer and supporting software
Demonstrated ability to compile and analyze basic data, develop metrics, and perform cost benefit analysis
Ability to work independently and interdependently with all levels of management and staff
Ability to manage multiple projects
