Omnichannel Assistant Manager at Best Buy

Job Description:

As the Omnichannel Operations and Services Senior Supervisor, you will make key process and policy decisions, as well as implement and enforce operational processes in support of the business strategy. You will ensure that Best Buy delivers a world-class customer experience as the destination and authority for technology products and services while also fostering an engaging employee culture.

This role is remote eligible, which means you would work virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. Minimal travel to stores or DDCs may be required to perform job duties.

What you’ll do


  • Lead and develop 23-25 team members while creating a culture that fuels continuous employee engagement and career development

  • Execute business processes and create solutions for complex and varied issues, or new or special assignments.

  • Work to define opportunities for future process and system enhancements by providing business insights and recommendations while assessing and communicating any risks

  • Understand business finance concepts (e.g., revenue and earnings performance; enterprise operating income, SG&A and market share; international operating income, SG&A and revenue growth). Understand and appreciate what it takes for a business to be profitable, while driving KPIs for the business.

  • Define key cost/benefit drivers. Review data/reports for accuracy and challenge unreasonable assumptions. Clearly articulate "what the numbers or data are saying."

  • Have a deep understanding of and appreciation for the company's internal and external customers across the enterprise. Work to meet customers' current needs.

Basic qualifications

  • 3 years of supervising or managing large teams (10+ for team size is preferred)

  • Proven ability to coach and develop people

  • Creative problem-solver and strategic thinker

  • Must be willing to work any of the 7 days of the week

  • Proven ability to drive performance and improve business results

  • Be an expert in the knowledge of the function’s systems, tools and technology, examples include but are not limited to:

    • Phone technology and Call Management System (CMS)

    • CRM tools and/or WFH tools (such as Aspect)

    • Industry specific tools: Social Media
