Job Description:

Overhead Door Company of Kansas City™, a DH Pace Company, Inc. is seeking to hire a Weekend Service Coordinator/Showroom and Parts Associate who will represent the company in a professional manner and effectively coordinate field employees while assisting with and troubleshooting when needed. This individual will ensure that our services will meet or exceed the customer’s satisfaction. Commission opportunity as well!


Work hours require 7:00am-4:00pm Saturdays, 9:00am-3:00pm Sunday (premium pay), and flexible work schedules on 3 weekdays.


Primary job functions:



  • Represent the company in a professional manner with good customer service and verbal communication skills.

  • Field incoming calls from customers that require service/sales by identify the type of call, type of problem, and then schedule the service appointment.

  • Communicate with customer, supervisor or other office personnel in an effective and timely manner.

  • Scheduling technicians efficiently with customer’s needs in mind and ensuring their jobs are cleared timely & accurately for billing purposes.

  • Follow up on return trips and verify that our technicians have everything needed to complete their jobs.

  • Review, receive, and process parts deliveries and technician parts picklists.

  • Troubleshoot and walk customers through technical issues.

  • Provide details about various doors in the showroom for customers.

  • Facilitate the transition to an in-home appointment with a consultant.

  • Other responsibilities as assigned.


Qualifications: 



  • Bachelors degree and one year of administrative experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience; Willing to train entry-level candidates! 

  • Must have excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Must be able to work Saturday and Sunday.

  • Represent the company in a professional manner.
