Job Description:


The Department of Medicine, Division of General Internal Medicine, University of Pittsburgh, is seeking a full-time Assistant Professor in the
appointment stream. The incumbent will contribute to the academic mission of the Department of Medicine and School of
Medicine as a clinician educator.
The incumbent's duties will include teaching and training medical students, residents, and/or graduate students in the
classroom and clinical settings while continuing their clinical duties through UPP. They will lead health systems science education and act as the course director for the MSELECT5920: Introduction to Health Systems Science for senior students. In addition, they will take on leadership of the HSS AOC. Furthermore, the candidate will lead the development of the Primary Care Accelerated Track Boot Camp and facilitate Health Systems Science introductory sessions and advancement of Health Systems Science content into clerkships and new curriculum across UPSOM.
Qualified candidates must have and MD or DO degree and be board-eligible or certified in internal medicine. Preference
will be given to candidates with 1 or more years of relevant experience who demonstrate the capacity for career
development and promotion. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and academic duties. Interested applicants
