Rate of Pay: $35.00 / hour
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
Location: 5550 West 74th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46268
As a Maintenance Team Lead, you will:
Work in a way that keeps you and your co-workers safe at all times.
Troubleshoot, repair, and install building and manufacturing equipment.
Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments to perform maintenance functions.
Maintain parts inventory / keep track of spare parts.
Work with other techs and Supervisor to order replacement parts.
Assign tasks to team members based on experience and qualifications.
Communicate with internal and external contacts.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in an industrial setting.
Ability to lift and carry 20 to 60 pounds.
Ability to read diagrams, manuals, and specifications.
Ability to stand 8 to 10 hours per day.
Knowledge of Electrical systems.
Knowledge of Air Compressor systems.
Knowledge of Conveyor systems and components, including PLC's.
Knowledge of packaging systems, especially Shanklin wrappers.
Knowledge of Dock equipment, including pallet stretch wrappers.
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external contacts.
Comfortable with computer applications.
Able to use google docs.
Ability to work in teams or alone.
Ability to motivate other team members.
Possess good organizational skills.
Be detail-oriented.
