As a Business Leadership Intern, you will work closely with our Leadership Teams to support various aspects of business operations within the ready-mix concrete industry. This internship is designed to provide exposure to strategic planning, process improvement, project management, and overall business development.
Responsible For:
Strategic Planning:
Contribute to the development and execution of strategic business plans.
Assist in analyzing market trends and industry data to identify growth opportunities.
Operational Support:
Collaborate with different departments to streamline and improve business processes.
Support the implementation of operational efficiency initiatives.
Project Management:
Assist in planning and coordinating projects related to business development and process optimization.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are achieved.
Data Analysis:
Analyze financial and operational data to generate insights and support decision-making.
Prepare reports and presentations for leadership review.
Market Research:
Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
Provide insights to assist in strategic decision-making.
What we are looking for:
Currently enrolled in the Concrete Industry Management Program at South Dakota State University, summer between junior/senior year.
Familiarity with all commonly used computer software (MS OfficeSuite, etc.).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Eagerness to learn and contribute to business operations in a dynamic industry.
