3M's Global IT Organization has an exciting new opportunity for an IT Data Migration Specialist-SAP Systems 
 
Job Summary:
 
Be responsible for population of data to Target Systems such as SAP.  
 
Responsibilities:

• Responsible for connectivity from BackOffice Associates Applications to SAP or other target systems


• Responsible for migration of data from BackOffice Associates data staging warehouse to SAP or other target systems.


• Work closely with ERP deployment team and functional data specialists to understand the location of data


• Be hands-on in data migration activities throughout all phases of the migration effort.


• Maintain optimal performance assurance and timely technical issue resolution for the data migration environment  

Basic Qualifications: 

• High School Diploma


• Minimum 5+ years experience with database applications


• 3+ years experience with SAP data load methods LSMW and BDC

• Bachelor's degree


• 5+ years SAP experience


• Previous data migration experience


• Ability to quickly learn new tools and methodology


• Ability to work collaboratively across cultures, languages and timezones


• Willing to teach the rest of the team the data migration processes


• Ability to translate data into useful business information, clearly document all processes developed, and create simple yet thorough audit processes


• Microsoft SQL Server 2005


• Microsoft windows 2003 File Storage and Security
