Maintenance Technician

This position is located in Holland, Michigan at the Southview Production Facility.
This is an hourly position.
Position will be on a premium shift.
Responsibilities
· Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on all manufacturing equipment.
· Working knowledge of injection molding machines (Plastics), robots, conveyance systems, pneumatics,
· Edit/modify control programs on programmable devices (examples: A-B, SLC-500, Control Logics,Panel View, Panel View plus).
· Support day to day production requirements to maintain machinery running and producing parts in constant supply.
· Perform manufacturing-related equipment PM's assigned to you in a timely manner.
· Adhere to safety requirements.
· Participate in problem solving groups, Kaizens, and lean manufacturing activities.
· Participate in the maintenance department efforts towards achieving key measures.
DESIRED SKILLS
· Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems
· Ability to read machine drawings and control schematics
· Ability to use basic machining tools, powered hand tools, and other maintenance-related equipment
· Familiarity with robots and robot controllers
· Ability to complete plumbing jobs for minor copper and valve installations.
· Ability to perform minor welding applications as necessary.
Qualifications
· Previous experience working in a maintenance department in a manufacturing environment
· Previous experience working with and maintaining automated machinery
· Strong mechanical background
· State of Michigan Registered Electrical Journeyman Card
· Weekend Overtime coverage required for position.
