Our client is seeking a Sr. Program Manager in Orlando, FL / Hybrid.


Role description


The Sr. Program Manager is responsible for the overall project management function for a multi-year cross-segment strategic initiative, providing leadership, coordination, and management to the program activities. The person who heads the strategic program team creates and maintains a uniform approach to program/project management and serves as change agent for continuous improvement through improved/enhanced methodologies. Theis Director will support other Project Managers and leads the development and application of project management methodology and culture. He or she oversees project management strategy, training, communication, program/project control/analysis/ reporting, process development and tool development, and serves on the Stakeholder committee for portfolio review. Essentially, the Sr. Program Manager is a "relationship manager": one who serves as a conduit for communications and understanding between the project personnel who carry out strategic initiative and the senior executives who make strategic decisions.
• Oversees implementation of processes and products to increase project management effectiveness.
• Oversees development and deployment of project controls tools, methodologies, and systems.
• Coordinates recurrent enterprise program/project budgets and resource forecasts.
• Facilitates resource, budget, timing, and deliverables issues resolution for all programs and projects.
• Oversees coaching and mentoring of project team members in the use of project management tools and processes and develops training standards for project managers.
• Ensures consistency through the development and implementation of methodology.
• Oversees risk management and change control processes.
• Maintains a master status list of projects and provides "dashboard" reports and analysis to senior leadership.
• Oversees the development of effective program/project tools to aid in process standardization (project audits, reports, templates, knowledge management tools such as a "Lessons Learned" library, and intranet).
• Oversees development of program/project business cases, plans, budgets, and resource requirements.
• Facilitates resolution of multi-project resource and integration conflicts.
• Accountable for Program budget.


Skills & Requirements


• 5+ years of Program Management experience in a lead position managing with technical teams in an enterprise environment
• Extensive experience managing, designing, implementing, and evaluating large sclae projects working seamlessly with various stakeholders
• Proven experience in budgeting, project management, and resource management
• Excellent experience with Project Management tools and methodologies
• Extensive SDLC Project Management experience
Pluses, nice to haves?
• Ecommerce project experience.
