JOB DESCRIPTION

Chubb's Global Safety, Security and Business Continuity (GSSBCM) has critical areas that are driven by a Duty of Care to protect our people, property, reputation, and brand. GSSBCM acts as a shared service to support Chubb Business Units and Corporate functions - as an integrator that can assist with reducing risk, and enhancing resilience, through deliberate planning, progressively challenging exercises, and transparent policies and processes.

The Security Officer - Roving Patrol - will be responsible for supporting the safety of all Chubb personnel, property and assets in greater New York City area.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and ad-hoc patrols of the lobby area and the outside perimeter to ensure compliance with security protocols.
• Familiarity with the facility including floor plans and number of employees/guests present daily.
• Offer directions and assistance to visitors including answering questions and escorting them to their destination.
• Provide backup/support for reception and lobby support, where requested.
• Monitor access points to the lobby, ensuring only authorized individuals enter the premises.
• Write detailed reports and maintain accurate logs of security activities.
• Immediate notification to Site Supervisor and/or Director of Security upon any problematic incidents.
